Longtime sports talking veterans in the State of Iowa, Jon Miller and Chris Williams finally team up with their own show. It's been decades in the making and is now here, courtesy of Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino. Hawks, Clones, sports business, life and everything in between.
Jon Miller is the Founder and former Publisher of HawkeyeNation.com, along with being the former Sports Director at 1040 WHO in Des Moines. He was also a TV host for the Big Ten Network and performed other duties for them. Jon was born and raised in Iowa and now lives in Kansas City.
Chris Williams is a dynamic force in the media world, wearing many hats as a writer, podcaster, marketer, advertiser, mentor, publisher, and business owner. Since launching CycloneFanatic.com in 2009, Chris has built it into the largest online community for Iowa State Cyclones fans, cementing his reputation as a leader in sports media.
His passion for media extends beyond athletics, driving him to launch 712 Media—a venture that helps businesses enhance their brands. Through 712 Media, Chris brought to life another ambitious project: Iowa Everywhere, a site dedicated to all things college athletics. The projects didn’t end there because he also made his dream come true by launching Always Race Day, a site dedicated to all things auto racing.
A proud 2007 graduate of Iowa State’s Greenlee School of Journalism, Chris is also deeply invested in his personal passions. He’s an avid auto racing enthusiast, enjoys reading books that challenge him, and smoking meats. Off the air, Chris is busy juggling life with his two young daughters, Camryn and Elyse, and their new golden retriever puppy, Diffie—named after the great Joe Diffie—all while his wife, Ashley, rolls her eyes at his antics.
